Cameron Highland Trips 2013

Finally i landed myself in one of the nicest almost unbelievable greenery that is only available in Cameron Highland Malaysia. Imagine smelling that fresh air and the feeling of the "just nice" cold temperature especially when you wake up early in the morning.

Just a little bit of Introduction and History

Cameron BOH Tea Farm

Cameron Highland is situated in Pahang, Malaysia and it is also regarded as the “Little England” in Asia as the result of colonization mark for hill station left over from British Peoples. It was first discovered by William Cameron in 1885 but somehow it was only developed about 40 years later by Sir William Maxwell.

It is located about 1500meters above sea level and served as one of the top tourist destinations in Malaysia despite its temperature seldom rising above 25 degree Celsius.

How to get there….

There are few ways you can actually reach there in Malaysia. It would really depends on where you are from; north or south from Cameron Highlands and what transport are you using to go there. For those from KL, there are plenty of buses in Titiwangsa or Pudu to get there. If you are coming from North via North-South Expressway , there are 2 ways whereby you can reach Cameron Highlands. You can either exit expressway at Simpang Pulai, Ipoh and proceed to Route 145 of which it will take about 1 hour to reach the first town Kampung Raja or you can exit expressway at Tapah and take route 59 to reach Ringlet (about 1 hr and 30 minutes. The FIRST road via Simpang Pulai is always the better choice due to better road condition.
